Illustrative CAD development and part measurement workflow

Part development · UK

Made-to-order replacement parts for cars and motorcycles.

Broken, missing or discontinued? We assess small, non-critical plastic parts for owners, repairers and restorers. Start with the part you need and the conditions it must work in.

Request a part assessment

An enquiry is not an order. Work and costs are agreed before you commit.

When a small part is no longer available.

A broken interior clip, trim cover or knob can hold up an otherwise practical repair. These are examples of enquiries we can review, not products in stock or confirmed compatibility. Each part needs its own assessment.

Interior clips and tabs

A small plastic fitting that has snapped or is no longer available. We need to understand what it retains and what would happen if it failed.

Trim, knobs and covers

A missing or discontinued non-critical component. Dimensions, mounting features and surroundings help determine whether development is practical.

A component within an assembly

When only a complete assembly is offered, we can assess whether the individual plastic part is suitable to replace on its own.

Your first enquiry

Start with photos and what you know.

  • Vehicle make, model, year and trim or variant, if known
  • Photos of the whole part, damage, fixings and fitted location
  • Approximate dimensions; a ruler in a photo can help show scale
  • Whether the original is intact, broken, partly missing or unavailable
  • What the part does, how many you need, and exposure to heat, load, weather or chemicals

You do not need a technical drawing to start. If the part is missing, show the fitted location and any reliable reference you have. Please wait for instructions before posting an original part.

Materials and practical limits

Our current manufacturing process is 3D printing using PLA or PETG. PLA may be used for prototypes and suitable low-temperature applications. PETG is not suitable for every automotive environment either.

Heat, sunlight, chemicals, load and the consequences of failure all matter. A material name alone does not establish suitability. We explain the proposed material, finish, limitations and checks before work begins.

Safety-critical, structural, braking, steering, high-temperature or otherwise unsuitable applications may be declined. A plastic replacement is not automatically suitable because the original was plastic.

From enquiry to an agreed solution

01

Show us the problem

Send photos, vehicle details and a description of what the part does. Tell us whether you have the original component.

02

Review the application

We consider the fitted location, fixings, material requirements and consequences of failure. More measurements or the original part may be needed.

03

Agree scope and cost

If the project appears viable, we explain development, prototypes, estimated timescale and costs. You decide whether to proceed.

04

Check before production

We agree how fit and function can be checked. Suitable projects move to production after the agreed checks.

Show us the part you cannot find.

Use our enquiry form to send photos and vehicle details together. If the project appears viable, we explain the proposed work, estimated timescale and any development or prototype costs before you decide.
